Challenge Description

The challenge in this section is to spot the incorrectly worked out solutions and/or incomplete ways of solving problems found in various well-known mathematical publications and examination materials.

The errors and the incompleteness of the solutions stemed from the misconceptions and inappropriate applications of mathematical theories as well as the overlooking of the very basic fundamental facts of mathematics which consequently led to errors and in some cases increased the complexity of the problem solving process.
